Tiz the season for Blankets…Blankets of Snow and Blankets to keep warm.
On the search for all things wintry, we came across 3 creative sims  that were wonderful.

This is a new spin on the adorable snowman, exposing the mischievous side of their character!

Have a bit of fun playing Revenge of the Snowmen.

Watch out they are very crafty and on a mission!

The Beautiful- “Asalia House” (TP)

A Decembers treat that is pleasing to the eye.

 

It is a winter fantasy that has hidden nooks and private coves.

It’s not busy with traffic, and you can also rez here.

 

Making it a perfect place to meet with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Festive- “The Pines at Jacobs Pond” (TP)

O’er the Hills and thru the woods…

Jacobs Pond has the feel of holiday spirit in all that you see. .

Explore the trails that lead to 3 Ice Rinks, Be sure to bring skates!

Take in all its pretty as you walk beneath fairy lights twinkling, & Snow lightly falling.

Among the streams and thickets are woodland creatures grazing.

The rustic House dressed in Christmas cheer is open to all, perfect for holiday pictures.

We’d like to mention, Per The Land Owner Holly; This is a Family sim, & decency is strictly enforced.

She invites you to Join the land group for rez permissions if you need to set out any props for your pictures.

SL Destinations: Discovery in Pangea

Hello One & All,
Welcome to another lead of some Interactive fun!

 Revan and I just came from the Wizardly Fair and dropped down somewhere magical.

Introducing “Discovery”, a SL Action Park made in the likeness of the world famous Disney Theme Parks.

 

There are 6 Rides here but don’t let the number fool you. They are HUGE on fun.

 

Having been to the World Famous Parks Ourselves, Revan and I agree this is basically “SPOT ON”.
You feel totally immersed here as you reminisce of great times spent at Disney.

 

The creators have done a phenomenal job replicating some of the well known venues and rides.
The detailing is madness!

 

Once things have wound down head over to Cafe Hyperion where you can grab something in the cafeteria.

 

Sit at the tables and chow down while you giggle at the screaming patrons (Your family & or Friends) on the Space Mountain
Ride. They’ve built a peek-a-boo window to keep you entertained. LOL

 

Check out the Big Screen in the Theater section and catch what’s playing.
They even have Free Soda built into the chairs too.  😉

This place is whimsical, clever, vivid, and dressed for the season.
All this makes a nice treat for the eyes. Choose a dark WL and really see the colors pop!

 

We highly recommend you bring a group or come with a date.
There is something for everyone.

 

Be sure to tell Everyone about this place.
It’s too good to keep it to yourself!

SL Destinations: Mainland Mayhem Part 2 of 3

Fall In Travel Troopers,
Its time for Part 2 of 3 Mainland Mayhem!

Today we continue with our operational maneuvers thru the mainland.
Our strategic goal is to pin point and locate interesting sims for your delight and eradicate our enemy- boredom!

Marching forward & Boots down we enter Kissling, a sim fortified with older shops running since 2003.

Feel Free To Browse, & Save a Linden or 2. There are very unique items here. (I’ve even found a Raggedy Ann Doll!)

Kissling is a quirky town with hyper cars, trucks and taxis that WHIZZ around corners and up and down each street very quickly.

While you wait by the cake shop you will notice a trolley or tour bus beckoning for you to board it.
Go ahead hop on! It moves very quickly, so hang on to your Cyrup (wig), As It travels across sim borders onto several towns.

When the trolley paused in The region of Boardman, We decided to take a look around & investigate.

This is A small suburban community set in a nice, quiet region without stores and looming towers.
They have an Open Air Market, A Town Hall run by Jack Linden, A Quaint Church, which has small town USA’s charm and appeal.

Wander the Boardman sim. You can rez in designated areas, set out vehicles to drive, or boats to navigate the long meandering river into other sims.

Our next tour of duty brings us to Frog Rd. The LM provided is the starting point.

Here you may rez your own vehicle, or board the idle city bus.

This Bus can hold up to as many friends that you bring with you, and will carry you all on a very long scenic route past unusual builds, stretched bridges, streams & mountains.

The Mainland holds some of SL’s oddest & oldest communities,

Last but not least of the fun, is Rizal.

Rizal is a play centre with many attractions.

Set like a lake front amusement Park, You will be entertained by food stands that give out food.
An Interactive Playground, Hedge Maze, Bumper Boats and our favorite the giant Piano keys.

This was big time fun as we played out notes while dancing on the keys lol.
