We are Sending you the LM to a fun sim, actually Highlighting a store this time.

This store caught my attention with a few words: “Ever destroyed a bunch of houses with a tornado?
Ever ridden a spider that can climb any object? Ever flown a Heli-Chair? No? Come on over!”
…And, So over we went lol

Revan and I were on this sim for hours, Conjuring Tornados, Destroying houses

and then riding in one LOLOL

 

After a bit of ‘spun til dizzy’ action, We jumped on the Helichairs and raced around the sim on warp speed LOL.

 

The Jumping Spiders were absolute laughs, as they climb upside down, make SUPER far Jumps, spit webs, race up mountains and cling sideways on any surface.

It was a nice surprise to meet Warp Bubble. He is the creator of these smart items, and Invites you all to visit and play!

Come in a large group to play-hold a relay race even lol,

Revan here :), The Wife and I were feeling a bit Rockabilly Retro today, So I searched for a sim to fit our mood.
I came across a true Gem., The Arkansas State University had 2 sims that fit our theme perfectly.

What a VAST destination! We got more than we expected. There are actually 6 sims Total owned by ASU., 2 campus, including an
orientaion area with Art Gallery, 3 historic recreations by Painter Meriman and 1 set aside as a Leisure sim with Beach.

The Regions have MANY points of interest, Too numerous to cover all in one post,

But We will highlight the spots we found enjoyable.

Here you will find unusual Art Exhibits and Interactive galleries.
Be sure to Transport to each area in the Art Building via the large banner flags in front.
We had a great time on the turtle ride touring a giant Aquarium!

John L. Handcox (1904-1992); was a Great Depression-era tenant farmer and union advocate from Arkansas renowned for his
politically charged songs and poetry.

This place is AMAZING!, They have even replicated Ernest Hemingway’s Studio.

During the 1930s A barn was converted into a studio to give Hemingway privacy for writing.
Portions of one of his most famous novels, A Farewell to Arms, and several short stories were written in this studio.

Moving along, We came across Country Music Singer Johnny Cash’s boyhood home in Dyess Circle.

This is a recreation of The Cash family home in Dyess Arkansas as it was during the 1940s.

Check out the the rest of this town. There’s a Pop-shop, Cinema, & other colony display homes here, It’s like a step back
in time.

Something I found interesting was that The University actually owns Mr.Cash’s childhood home & The Dyess Circle Community;

 Exploring a bit more we come across a piece of Antique Southern Beauty.

A scale model of The Lakeport Plantation House in Lake Village, Arkansas.

This palatial estate is One of Arkansas’ premiere historic structures.
Lakeport is the only remaining Arkansas plantation home set on the Mississippi River.
It was built in 1859 for Lycurgus and Lydia Taylor Johnson, Who were part of a political dynasty that extended from
Virginia to Kentucky to Arkansas.

Jump on the Horse & Carriage awaiting you for a tour around the estate with cotton fields.

Opposite of The Lakeport Mansion are tour boats and rafts.
The Raft will take you to the tragic sunken town of Napoleon.

Just stand up when destination reaches its point and walk off the pier to find this RL Historic replica underwater.
There are plenty of signs around to tell you the story of what happened and when.

If You take the row Boat, You will then tour a serene swamp, great for photos.

There is also a wooden shack complete with rocking chairs on the porch to hang out.

SL Destinations: Django Resort- Knock on Wood

Welcome Explorers!

Knock on Wood is a tiny inlet filled with Pretty vegetation, mist, benches, and cozy nooks.

Pose balls are littered throughout this mini forest, look up, some are even in the trees.

Ride in the boat that encircles the island, Play a game of logs with a friend…

Or pose on the elephant and say cheese 🙂

Don’t be alarmed of the strange clicking sounds and a glimpse of alien like ghosts…

As you wander through this water marsh you will be followed by tiny Kodama, which are Japanese tree spirits.

They are harmless and love for you to click on their heads…try it 😉

Trail along the walk way made of field flowers, It will lead to a well which drops into an undersea forest inhabited by
the Moomins.

The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books and comic strip by Swedish-Finn illustrator and writer Tove
Jansson. They are a family of fairy tale characters, who are white, roundish, & with large snouts that resemble hippos.

Although small, This destination has many more places to see and explore.
Be sure to click the board in the landing area to collect LMs to even more fascinating places.

SL Destinations: Avidya

Welcome Explorers,
This post brings you another spot worthy of a visit named Avidya.
There are not many interactive areas here but We both agree, It is very pretty to look at and perfect for avid photographers.

At the starting point, There is a Cafe set in a Manor, with an old english style garden thick with bright flowers, and
swaying trees. Inside this cafe is traditional Japanese style dining, & A sushi bar with crackling fireplace & humble decor.

There is a Welcome sign announcing club hours are being   held every Tuesday and Thursday.

Outside of the Manor’s cafe is a covered bridge and walkways that lead to other scenic areas on the sim.

One area is vivid and lovely as hundreds of colorful butterflies flutter at the entrance of a cave.
This cave contains a Harp, A fantasy garden of Giant mushrooms, Beds of Flowers and even more butterflies.

 

The walk continues along to a cobble stone street with Old style store fronts & brownstone stoops.
Set on the street are cafe style chairs and table. Great for pictures, perfect for a sit and hang out.

 

Across the waterway you will see a tall castle. That is the Cinderella Social Dance Bar.

Inside this castle is a majestic ballroom, with Itans and sitting areas for social gatherings.
They are also offering at this time a Snazzy Mesh Suit Free for the Fellas, Stop by and pick up one.

SL Destinations: Petit Pas

Welcome Friends,

If you are looking for a new place to feed your eyes and relax your mind,
Then Todays post is right on time for you.

We bring to you Petit Pas. This destination is very sweet, quaint, & interesting.
The feeling you get is it is very friendly here.

When you land, You will see an cute interactive merry go round in the center, surrounded by park benches, trees with shade, and some props with animations free to use.
Hubby and I had fun on the ride LOL

There are open gates & you will see a descending path of green inviting you to explore further.

As you walk down the tree lined walkway , You’re greeted by fields of colored flowers and ancient trees.

Country style houses are in this area, with furniture for you and yours to spend time in.

Such beauty!, It was like walking into a forgotten garden, equally adorable as the town you first dropped into.

SL Destinations: Deadly in Wonderland

Welcome Friends

Always in search of interesting sims, We have come across a sim that is very cute for pic opportunities.

Almost Wonderland is a dark yet delightful sim, full of brightly colored plants, trees and props from the Wonderland story.

There is so much to take in here, and leaves you with the question, Where to start?

There are pathways that curve in all directions so that you can take in every bit of splendour.
Relax a while at the Mad Hatters Tea party or sit and smoke with The Caterpillar.

 

Take a trip around the sim in a steam punk style flying tea pot which will drop you off at a floating mansion.

Many of the props are for sale along with clothing to fit the theme, so follow the rabbit down the hole and enjoy wonderland.

SL Destinations: Unpredictable in Nitroglobus

Welcome All,

Todays post spotlights a visually appealing destination.

Hubby and I decided to spend the day, and truly it was hours lol, soaking in all the lights, colors, and artistic works of the Nitroglobus Sim.

There are two spots to check out, The ground level and the Art Gallery up in the air.

On the ground is the residence of the sim owners & Nitroglobus Gallery Nitro Fireguard & Dido Haas.
Please be respectful when touring the ground area & not to enter the dwellings.
There are plenty of other interesting areas to keep a good guest occupied. 🙂

The Ground is absolutely wonderful. It reminds me of an Enchanted Forest with glowing trees, colored beams in a subdued light setting.

There cuddle areas, lapping water, surf foam and long stretches of secluded beach. Perfect for fantasy or romantic snapshots.

I recommend the windlight ‘Dusty’ for a nice medium to the brightly colored trees and will add a smoky backdrop against the water and beach areas.

Upstairs is the Art Gallery which features Second Life’s talented artists for specific times, as well as works done by the sims hosts.

Innuendo Italian Style: Baroque Shoe

Today I want to show you an lovely shoe that will keep it  classy from formal wear to Jeans. Designer Ciccia Bergamasco has created a new shoe called Baroque.

Baroque is an detailed and exquisitely made shoe. I think of it as total art for your feet.  It comes with an easy to use hud for skin and nail changes.
