SL Destinations: Django Resort- Knock on Wood

Welcome Explorers!

Knock on Wood is a tiny inlet filled with Pretty vegetation, mist, benches, and cozy nooks.

Pose balls are littered throughout this mini forest, look up, some are even in the trees.

Ride in the boat that encircles the island, Play a game of logs with a friend…

Or pose on the elephant and say cheese 🙂

Don’t be alarmed of the strange clicking sounds and a glimpse of alien like ghosts…

As you wander through this water marsh you will be followed by tiny Kodama, which are Japanese tree spirits.

They are harmless and love for you to click on their heads…try it 😉

Trail along the walk way made of field flowers, It will lead to a well which drops into an undersea forest inhabited by
the Moomins.

The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books and comic strip by Swedish-Finn illustrator and writer Tove
Jansson. They are a family of fairy tale characters, who are white, roundish, & with large snouts that resemble hippos.

Although small, This destination has many more places to see and explore.
Be sure to click the board in the landing area to collect LMs to even more fascinating places.

SL DESTINATIONS: Balloons, Balloons & Summer! Yay!

Welcome Aboard!
Here’s an informative post to some great photogenic and interactive places in second life.
what better way to start the 1st day of summer than in a balloon trip touring beautiful and scenic destinations.

We will spotlight 2 sims for you… Read on to see how wonderful these were made!

 Our first excursion brought us to Lula, Where there is a small parade of popular shops that look more like a quaint European town nestled in rolling hills.

The Stationary Balloons here provide a very nice aerial view of the sim.

Sitting at a table in the town square did not feel like a sim just for shopping but more like you have transported into a
Beautiful old village in southern france.

When You visit this picturesque sim do wander the grounds, You will find many pose balls for couples and nooks for spending
time with your favorite people.

Having caught the bug for ballooning our next port of call was The Island of Shalott, Where you may take a tour of the sim
in a steampunk style balloon or use any of the other routes of transportation such as Horse & Cart, Boat, or Train.

Although the sim is based on Norse legend, There are steampunk elements thruout and even wheeled elephants to ride through
The beautiful garden, lol

Please be sure to click and receive the notecard from Janetland Laboratories explaining more about the sims past from 2007,
to its present and future projects. It is a very relaxed educational place as well as entertaining.

They even provide a cafe in the air, You may access the TP via the Oval Museum just off the RR tracks.

Or a palatial Home with a Secret Garden to explore in seclusion..

SL Destinations: Safrano Gardens & Pakeeza

Today’s post is of a gem you may add to your exploration list.

Safrano Gardens is Beautiful, Serene, &  Does evoke spiritualism within your person.

Toasting to the Romantic, Mysterious & Ancient Culture of India, There are many  references
of this deep culture throughout the sim.

This destination is very peaceful, romantic and a photog’s haven.

Watch the sun rise while drinking tea on a beautiful golden barge with your favorite person(s).

Hubby and I did venture out to another picturesque destination call Pakeeza – Shekhawati.

Here we found areas used for Beach outings, celebrations, and a build fashioned after the Opulent Taj Mahal.

Touring the grounds You will see Peacocks, Fountains, Arches, with plenty of pretty areas all great for photo opportunities.

Pakeeza is also a fantastic spot to sit and reflect alone or spend quality time with your favorite crowd.

Today’s post features Innuendo Italian Style. The Designer Ciccia Bergamasco has released an Edgy but Feminine look called Etoille.
I loved this new release, its quite my style.

This ensemble comes complete with studded ankle boots even, BUT I am always known to put my own twist on things so I chose ballet boots to go with It, and also get some wear out of them. :p

As usual, I am out and about with Hubby looking for nice scenery to snap my pics and found an interesting sim.

Black Kite is a spot where You and company can chill in peace surrounded by shimmering water, & cozy nooks, in a kitchy atmosphere.

The homestead is also the residential home of theblackcloud Oh but generously open to the public to enjoy.

The owner just has 1 rule and I quote, “If you follow the “Don’t be a douche” rule, everyone will be happy and you won’t get kicked and banned from Black Kite. Please enjoy your stay and I hope you come back to visit again and again.~theblackcloud Oh.”
LOL! So with that said, Read the Covenant, Follow the rules, Join the land group so that you may Rez your poses or props, & be sure to clean up after yourself.

SL Destinations: Just For Fun

Hello Good People!

This post is about a real gem discovered while exploring.

The “Just for Fun” Sim has a little of everything when it comes to relaxation and landscape eye candy,

with many different areas to sit or take snaps.

From the landing point you are welcomed by swatches of beautiful flowers and grazing horses, leading to secluded picnic and seating areas.

Venturing deeper into the sim, You come across diversity as rain drenched stormy woodland,

 

snowy mountain heights and a breath taking and colorful illuminated glade.

So, whether your looking for a romantic spot to chill with your significant other or a place to take beautiful pictures, “Just for fun” ticks all the boxes.

Bohemian in The Beguiled

Hello! & Welcome Forward <3,

Joyous events in my SL & RL have come & gone but I am back!
Back to what I love in SL…Exploring and Blogging with my now Husband Mr Godai 🙂
Ahhh! We were Married April 28th in a private ceremony, and have been tucked away on honeymoon 😉

Today’s post is showcasing the phenomenal grid of SecondLife.
There have been GORGEOUS BEAUTIFUL Intriguing  spots We have traipsed across, some by chance or by word of mouth.

This particular find is a lovely spot on the mainland that is an Art Gallery & Studio that you may use.
They do allow rezzing and invite you to pull out your own props to make your pics look better.

When you have looked through the gallery and or are done using the studio booths, you MUST adventure outside out into the vast gardens.

The rain is falling in some spots, while other areas are themed after fable characters like The Mythical Fawn Pan or The Tree of Wisdom.

The sounds throughout this haven are soothing. Harps and flutes play,

Entwined with sounds of waterfalls, trickling streams, & bird calls of different varieties.

Check out the sim yourself, Its a gem to add to your photography and or meditation list.

Rock Out Killa DesignZ

Everyone has  grabbed it and made some type of package deal out of them., But This is the best buy I’ve seen so far.

Killa DesignZ has them and this release is called, “The Deadly 6.”

They are texture change High Heel boots on a Hud, that come in BOTH choices of  gold studs and silver studs for only 199l$
