Welcome Winter Warriors!,

Fancy something different from sleigh rides and building snow men?

Well here’s a new spin on winter activities that may just be “cool” enough for you!

How about surfing in the cold?!, a Real Life craze for extreme surfers.

These thrill seekers will travel to icy shores in search of the perfect wave, and now it has come to SL found on the beautiful Coral Reef Island.

This stark Arctic scene is surrounded by mountains, broken ice flows, and huge crashing waves for you to surf.

We both had the feeling that if we were to shout an echo would bounce all around the mountains lol

Although there is an atmosphere of dead quiet and isolation here, the sim still retains a feeling of coziness.

So, If you don’t feel like braving icy waters you will find a few quiet spots to sit, relax, and watch the waves roll by.

There is a rez surf board at the TP point for you to try, and if you get the surfing bug you may want to check out the SL Surfing Association for events and tournaments

A Decembers treat that is pleasing to the eye.

 

It is a winter fantasy that has hidden nooks and private coves.

It’s not busy with traffic, and you can also rez here.

 

Making it a perfect place to meet with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Festive- “The Pines at Jacobs Pond” (TP)

O’er the Hills and thru the woods…

Jacobs Pond has the feel of holiday spirit in all that you see. .

Explore the trails that lead to 3 Ice Rinks, Be sure to bring skates!

Take in all its pretty as you walk beneath fairy lights twinkling, & Snow lightly falling.

Among the streams and thickets are woodland creatures grazing.

The rustic House dressed in Christmas cheer is open to all, perfect for holiday pictures.

We’d like to mention, Per The Land Owner Holly; This is a Family sim, & decency is strictly enforced.

She invites you to Join the land group for rez permissions if you need to set out any props for your pictures.

Hello Explorers!

Here is another Destination in SL That is full of fun called “BREAKER”.
Hubby and I lingered for HOURS, There is so much to take in here!

Let me tell you, Visiting the Off the Wall Sim by Artist RACHEL BREAKER is like entering into a child’s wildest dream.

Your eyes will be entertained by a spectrum of vivid colors and a random assortment of oversized toys and giant flowers.

The shop selling clothes and gadgets sits at the heart of the sim and is contained inside giant crumbling walls made from lego style bricks.

Rolling spotted hills assorted leaning buildings, bouncing Snowmen & Rabbits, and Dinosaurs are dwarfed by huge balloon animals,

A robot head and molecule style structure reminescent of the game “Connex”

Definitely a place worth a visit to take pictures or just act like a big Kid for the Day!
