We are breaking the silence, blowing the dust off the blog’s wall & back from beyond the spirit world to bring you a dark treat.

This is a rather late post for the hallowed holiday, but wanted to get this out at least ON the night lol.

Featuring 3 spots to check out if you haven’t already. Bryn Ohs Immersiva, Alice in Wonderland, and Nuville Horrors.

These sims have been around for a while & can be visited at anytime for a nice group outing, all are interactive as well as scenic.

This is a very dark sim, You will need to use the sim’s WL and wear the free headlamp to get around.

Be careful, You can be killed & sent home by Mr Zippers, a mad robotic type bunny zipping randomly about the sim.

This sim is Eerie, Spooky, Intriguing, & worth a visit.

Great scenes as you ride the creepy bus thru the town,

At the end of the ride, You can search for 50 great hunt items hidden in the apartments.

Worthy of the 100L Entry fee, This sim is well done. A J-Team Thumbs Up!

Slightly Dark & Twisted with a Sprinkle of Whimsy, This sim is beautiful and a delight to explore.

You will need a group tag to access the grounds,

From the landing with the adorable bunny-walk inside the tree where you fall down the deep and long rabbit hole.

Look for the “key” (Group Invite) near the table and bottle., Climb through the small door to get to ground level.

And…The adventure begins! A treat for the eyes and a great op for fantastic pics!

Guards! Guards! He has taken some of my candy!  😡

Be sure to try your luck at the gacha machines in back of the windmill!

SL Destinations: The Black Spot Shipyard

Ahoy Shipmates!

This week sees the start of the Skull-n-Bones 3rd annual Pirate hunt ,

so the wife and I thought it would be a great opportunity for us to share one of our seafaring adventures from a few months back.

We made sail for the Black Spot Shipyard which is a series of islands and inlets set over 2 sims.

A vast array of pirate ships and galleons, all of which are for sale, line the harbour and docks.

Wooden walkways and paths lead to secluded areas with seating to take in the scenery and magnificent ships.

Torch lit corridors lead through the fortified docks, with cavernous rooms to explore.

Catch the boat tour which navigates around the ships and islands,
or if you fancy seeing the sights from the air take the flying broom or flying carpet tour!

You can rez your own ships or boats here and sail around to your hearts content.
So if you think the Pirate life is for you then this should be your first port of call.

SL Destinations: Forgotten City

Greetings fellow adventurers,

Today the Wife and I ventured into the AMAZING Forgotten City.

A Steampunk world of Gears and Steam, Industry and Automatons,

Air Ships and Rockets set over many levels.

Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction that typically features steam-powered machinery, especially in settings inspired by The Industrialized Western Civilization during the 19th century’s British Victorian era or America’s “Wild West”.

From the starting point in the lower City you will find information and a teleporter to the many other activities and points of interest.

We started our visit by taking in the sights by Hot Air balloon, and then by Boat through the winding canals.

Brass Autobot Citizens can be found occupied, or walking the streets tending to the workings of the city, along with many clockwork cats.

On the Toy Factory’s platform you are able to buy many of the vehicles, buildings and objects found around the city.

Here you can sit and enjoy some interactive games.

There is a racing track with cars free to rez, or if you fancy your chances fighting extraterrestrials, an Alien hunt game.

Still feeling in the mood for activities? Why not take a chair lift to the mountain summit and compete with friends in the long distance ski jump.

 

After that you can dance away into the small hours in the ballroom or relax at the sausage stand.

Many of the buildings are available to rent so if you enjoy your visit as much as we did you may want to make your home there too!

Around The World Blogger Challenge: “P”- The Park

Hello Friends!, *Big Hugs*
Today for the letter “P”, We are strolling thru the PARK in AnyTown USA 🙂

Parks are essential to every big city and rural town. Its a great place to exercise, Gather with friends & family, Or to enjoy a bit of nature and feed your mind some peace.

I choose this look for its layering and long sleeves in the coolish weather outdoors. The ‘Fro and large earring as well as the butterfly sleeves on the cami give it a retro feel. My Lelutka pants tied up the look well 🙂

I’d also like to point out that I found a hunt gift I wanted to use on this stroll. Its a scooter with poses built in. The hunt prize was part of “The Unseen Hunt” and is still sitting out, yours for the taking! Just follow the url I provided, and look for a large blue paisley butterfly 🙂

Baroness Von Chichi has arrived!

 

The inspiration for this look was based on the Actress Daisy D’ora –

Born February 26, 1913.

She was a German beauty queen,  socialite and actress.

She was actually a true Baroness and was called Daisy, or Baroness von Freyberg,

But because it was improper for upper class to work for the show business,

She had to obtain a stage name.

She went Heaven-Bound on June 12, 2010 at the age of 97 in her beloved Munich, Germany.

The Baroness returning home after so many years!

 

I pictured her visiting home,

missing her family and friends after a long successful Hollywood career..

 

I’m still Dora from the Block!
