SL Destinations: The Black Spot Shipyard

Ahoy Shipmates!

This week sees the start of the Skull-n-Bones 3rd annual Pirate hunt ,

so the wife and I thought it would be a great opportunity for us to share one of our seafaring adventures from a few months back.

We made sail for the Black Spot Shipyard which is a series of islands and inlets set over 2 sims.

A vast array of pirate ships and galleons, all of which are for sale, line the harbour and docks.

Wooden walkways and paths lead to secluded areas with seating to take in the scenery and magnificent ships.

Torch lit corridors lead through the fortified docks, with cavernous rooms to explore.

Catch the boat tour which navigates around the ships and islands,
or if you fancy seeing the sights from the air take the flying broom or flying carpet tour!

You can rez your own ships or boats here and sail around to your hearts content.
So if you think the Pirate life is for you then this should be your first port of call.

SL Destinations: The Fairy Grove in Brillant

Hi Travel Buddies, We have a Cute Alert!

Always after blogging something, Hubby and I are off like 2 kids aimlessly frolicking.
Hubby says “Come, lets ride some sharks in the water. I’ve seen a Laser Shark sold for 1L.” (The Men’s Dept @ The Pea)
So we go and get one for me, and head to open water in a region called Mallebeench.

We are chasing each other in circles with miles of open water to play in, When We see an Island come into view…
It was a lush colorful island with a deep dark river carved thru it…

“Hmm, very interesting…” I say, and then hubby takes notice of some twinkling through the thick brush.
We curiously steer the sharks down the dark mouth of the river until the beauty came into full view…

Wow, very very pretty here!, We both exclaim. Everything was mini..petite sized.

There wasn’t anything interactive here for us, as we were human sized, Too big to fit into the houses or chairs..
But I will tell you it was peaceful as we sat, chatted, and made nice photos as we played with windlights…
