SL Destinations: Macbeth

Welcome Wanderers,
This post brings you a literary gem of Foul Whisperings & Strange Matters.

 

Macbeth is a dark and powerful tragedy written by William Shakespeare.

 

It is the story of a Scottish General who received a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of
Scotland.

 

Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife Lady Macbeth, He then murders The King and takes the throne for
himself.

 

Soon after, Macbeth’s heart couldn’t handle the sin., He is wracked with guilt and paranoia, and is forced to commit MORE murders to protect himself from suspicion.

 

He and his wife descend on a complex journey of arrogance, madness, and subsequent death.

Although this sim is an educational build for a RL School, We feel it doubles as an Art Install,
Thought provoking and worthy of a visit.

 While out snapping the dress, MrGodai & I always mix exploring in with blogging.

We revisited the Cica Sim. I love this place, always evolving and coming up with visual candy.

They now have an art installation called “RUST”.

We settled near the Elephants and the dress meshed into the scene very well.

Such a nice peaceful work of art, Be sure to visit, Its a great place to spend time alone or with great company.

The creator is on the sim most times and is very friendly to answer any questions you have about the builds.

Wild & Curvy Silhouettes

Vintage in Virtual Harlem

Todays post is a blast of nostalgia, Vintage If you may.

I indulged in a delicious lil mesh number called “Garbo”, from Valentina E.

My favorite hat store in all of SL never guides me wrong. I showed  My Friend Chigadee London, who is The owner of Chapeau Couture, A picture of  this dress and she pointed out 2 hats.

The one I’m wearing spoke my language!, I LOVE this entire look.

I went down to Virtual Harlem where they have The Cotton Club and snapped some fun pics there and in front of the World Famous Apollo Theater.

Hello Loves,

Todays look was based on a Jacket I found at La Penderie de Nicole.

It was a new store to me, so the shopaholic in me was curious and checked it out.

OH!, they have some very nice clothing items in Mesh, from feather corsets to cute lil houndstooth jackets like the one I am wearing.

Also, I picked up a braided style a while ago from EMO-tions called Starline. and decided to get some wear out of it as well.

Another store worth checking out is Cashmere & Keane.

They have great poses and a discount room with nice bags marked down as seen here in my pic.

Very Stylish for all your favorite looks from Casual to formal.
Here I teamed it with a New Mini Dress called “Love Me” from {U.R.}, It was a perfect fit!

We have ventured into East Africa, And have landed in the facinating country known as

The Republic of Kenya.
There are 69 dialects spoken in this country, & Swahili is the national Kenyan language,
Although English is commonly spoken thruout.

Kenya is famous for its safaris and wildlife reserves that attract tourists from all over the world.
This very reason, is what inspired my look today.
A Zebra print, bold and mesmerizing like the animal itself.

Today I visited the market to buy some delicacies,
The outdoor vendors were scenting the area with delicious smells,
and my belly was getting hungrier the longer I stayed there!

I even stopped to entertain myself by snake charming!

Urrrrrp! ‘scuse me :-), I done caught the sleepy’itis

Ahh, Now that I ate a bowl of Githeri,
I’m ready to sleep!

Githeri is a Kenyan traditional meal of corn & beans stewed with greens, meat & potatoes.
