New York frame of mind

Hi There!,

I am spreading the news to let you all know of a seriously well made sim, or really,  A group of Nine sims modeled after New York.

The creator did such a great job capturing the essence of what makes New York so great.

Alot of care went into the design of these sims as they include details of each borough to make them authentic.

In my pics, are of a train system that travels through four sims, All the way to Upstate New York to play in the Winter area.

Its a nice lil ride, very relaxing and lasts approx 18mins.

Then they have Balloon tours that take you over the Triborough & Waterway, Where you can catch yet another train back to the main station, Or swing by Battery Park and take a gander at the works along the Artwalk.

Here a friendly Hot Dog Vendor named Benny makes me a nice frank with extra mustard 😉

They also duplicated the Cyclone coaster very smooth and NO LAG whatsoever.

Once You get off the Rollercoaster, Stop by the Healing Ground, a Caw-fee 😉 shop for some Frappes, Coffee, or Lattes.

Around The World Blogger Challenge: “Q”- Queens, NY

Hey Hey Hows it going?!,:-)

This stop finds us in good ol Queens. A borough of New York choked full of diversity. You will find people are very proud of the neighborhoods they are from, and speak of them as if they were a whole separate city or place.
Two ‘hoods I picked to rep in style of dress is Astoria, and Jamaica Queens.

Astoria is mainly composed of Arab, Greek and Italian, but other nationalities are present. It is reflected in the many choices of restaurants and specialty shops.

Jamaica Queens, is completely unrelated to the Caribbean nation of Jamaica. BUT, has a substantial concentration of West Indian immigrants, Indians, Arabs, Russians, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Filipinos as well as many long-established African-American families.

My Astoria girl can be seen shopping in Vintage and Bargain Bins along Steinway Street, As it is reflected in her eclectic style of dress.

While my Jamaica Queens Lady is running errands along Jamaica Ave, Hitting the local stores to see whats hot, and stopping to have lunch at a reputable Caribbean restaurant.

(Hello Friends! I hope your families are Blessed. It is good to see you. :-))

Oh what a Wonderful & Busy place Jakarta is!
It’s the capital and largest city of Indonesia,
sorta like the equivalent of New York City.
There is such a contrast of nature and bustling city life here.
I’ve decided to pick the tranquility of nature to snap these pics.:-)

Influences from others make up the clothing history.
Styles of clothing came from various visitors.
People from China, Madrid, India, & the Javanese especially left their imprint.

What I am wearing is called a Kebaya.
A Kebaya is a traditional blouse-dress combination
worn by women in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Burma, Singapore, southern Thailand.
It is sometimes made from sheer material(note my jacket),
and usually worn with a sarong or batik kain panjang,
or other traditional woven garment such as ikat, or songket with a colorful motif.

Bright, Bold contrasting colors are most preferred.
I went for pink green and yellows 🙂
