Hello All
It is near Spring, and daydreams are looking forward to change of scenery, change of clothes, change of how and where we
spend our leisure. I know most will agree, After the long Winter months we are ready for said change.
Most may be thinking ahead to Summer and a nice hot beach somewhere, Or perhaps like me… a happy medium, cool but not
COLD.
…Maybe a place where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.
The comfortable mist and fresh smells ..of Earth, of Trees…of Grass.
Until the last of the snow melts or the freezing rain ceases, We can immerse ourselves in Second Life and get a sample of
whats to come while waiting for Mother Nature to gracefully move on to the next season in RL.
There are many Forest and Parks in Second Life, Choosing just one to blog about was a challenge,

This is the J-Team reporting from Linden Labs Moonbase…
We have landed safely and analyze this destination in full detail for you.
This simulator is set in a crater with multi levels that reach from the surface to deep underground.
The Moon Base is a fully functioning center, equipped research rooms, a medical bay, a green house, and docking platforms.
These multi levels are accessed by lifts and corridors sealed with pressure doors.
There is a feeling of solitude and isolation here., Stark, depicted like the real deal.
We noticed traffic in & out of the sim is extremely low to nil and agree it would make an ideal spot for machinima,
photography or RP.

It’s been a while hasn’t it?! 🙂
Well we haven’t gone far, The New Year came in with a ROAR and a basket of happiness for us both.
This post reminds me of the size of our RL Blessings, DINO HUGE LOL.

This sim has some of the most unique, & awesome avatars for sale here.
Revan and I grabbed the 2 freebies offered which are pretty cool in themselves

We looked through the vendors & bought the Dinosaurs we fancied, and then proceeded to the ground level for a look around.
This sim has a simple layout, similar to what it may have looked when Dinosaurs roamed.
Sound effects, Smoking Volcanos, crunchy underbrush in the forest adds the the immersive RP.
We had a ball as we battled with LOUD trumpeting growls and snarls as we charged.
Kicked up dust stomping and running. Splashing in the water or munching on green or flesh.
Wanders the busy creator is very friendly, accomodating to visitors and, loves to hear feedback.

Bonjou! Konmen to yê? (Hello!, How are you?)
Today we bring you a bit of early 20th Century Americana.
A wee bit of Louisiana flava called New Toulouse. This region contains 2 sims, One is Urban and the other is Rural.
The city is modeled after New Orleans, and is bustling with Voudoun shops, Jazz clubs, Processions, Art & Cuisine, just
like the real thing.
The country or Bayou is where We settled, located on the 2nd sim, and we literally haunted it for days lol.
We really did enjoy the feel of this Swamp settlement.
Natural beauty filled this entire sim., From the birds & fauna native to this landscape, to the reptilian mascots that
occupied the waters.
The time period they emulate here is b’twix 1920-1925’s rural, When it was pure and simple country living.
Although Louisiana is very diverse, southern LA had 2 larger groups, Cajun & Creole.
Cajuns are French colonists who developed their own distinct lifestyle in the swamps and surrounding areas of South
Louisiana. Intermixed in these colonies were the Creole. Creole can mean anything from individuals born in New Orleans with
French and Spanish ancestry to those who descended from African/Caribbean/French/Spanish heritage.
It was a pleasant surprise to see them keep it authentic to the way folks would’ve Built Homes & Businesses, or decorated
their yards and houses.
We recognized African influences in the decor, no doubt brought by the freedom folks as they settled in communities.
I was tickled over The bottle tree that I have known through my own Geechi/Gullah heritage.
This custom originated in Africa., People believed that bad spirits could be captured in a bottle.
Legend had it that empty glass bottles placed outside, but near, the home could capture roving (usually evil) spirits at
night, and the spirit would be destroyed the next day in the sunshine. One could then cork the bottles and throw them into
the river to wash away the evil spirits.
Of course as time goes on meanings fade.
Not all Folk still believe in such things but the gesture of displaying old customs reminds us of whence we came.
Alot of decor also showed signs of Christianity or Voudoun beliefs
This sim is very fascinating, do check out the library and other informative areas to learn more.

Hello One & All,
Welcome to another lead of some Interactive fun!
Revan and I just came from the Wizardly Fair and dropped down somewhere magical.
Introducing “Discovery”, a SL Action Park made in the likeness of the world famous Disney Theme Parks.
There are 6 Rides here but don’t let the number fool you. They are HUGE on fun.
Having been to the World Famous Parks Ourselves, Revan and I agree this is basically “SPOT ON”.
You feel totally immersed here as you reminisce of great times spent at Disney.
The creators have done a phenomenal job replicating some of the well known venues and rides.
The detailing is madness!
Once things have wound down head over to Cafe Hyperion where you can grab something in the cafeteria.
Sit at the tables and chow down while you giggle at the screaming patrons (Your family & or Friends) on the Space Mountain
Ride. They’ve built a peek-a-boo window to keep you entertained. LOL
Check out the Big Screen in the Theater section and catch what’s playing.
They even have Free Soda built into the chairs too. 😉
This place is whimsical, clever, vivid, and dressed for the season.
All this makes a nice treat for the eyes. Choose a dark WL and really see the colors pop!
We highly recommend you bring a group or come with a date.
There is something for everyone.
Be sure to tell Everyone about this place.
It’s too good to keep it to yourself!

Today’s post is one of high adventure. Are you ready?!
We travel to the Great Pyramid of Giza, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World in search of The Pharaohs Tomb!
Only those with courage and resolve will make it through the maze of tunnels and chambers laden with Treasures and Traps.
We began our adventure in the temple below the pyramid where a stone slab slid away on our approach revealing a hidden entrance!
A vast room full of venomous snakes, led to a dark tunnel where long dead mummies woke from their slumber…
uh, uh…..RUN!!
Spiders, Crocodiles, Fire Pits, Rope Slides and Moving Bridges…
Who said this would be easy?
If you make it to the Pharaoh’s Tomb Room in one piece make sure You take the time to marvel at the opulent décor and grand statues.
Having completed your quest, why not spend some time relaxing in the Palace or taking in the sights by boat, balloon or flying carpet.

You as the visitor can make a difference for these poor characters.
There is a puzzle to solve amongst the characters.
Each one of them holds a keyword that collectively Will open a door to freedom.
This sim although shadowy is visually appealing..It’s like walking into a Sepia photograph.

Sitting high above the ground, inside the head of the Jetsons’ robot, Rosie, stands a Robot Sanitorium .
Ever wonder what happens to those robots that are just a little…off?
Inside lies the answer….
The sim “Whimsy Kaboom” is home to the many mentally malfunctioning mechanoids of the metaverse.
When you arrive, You will notice they have TP points to other fun areas, located on the left.
We chose The Space floater 1rst, It is fun and makes for sweet photo ops. Pose balls are already in place, Jump on one and You can soar, swing and float among the stars. There are poseballs for you and a friend to have a wonderfully tender dance as well.
It was great seeing Sputnik in the scene as well as a trailing Meteor zipping by, We took Liberties of chilling on them LOL.
Once you are done hanging out in space, Use The rocket ship pad to return to the Entrance of the Sanitorium.
Entering Inside, there’s absolutely no indication you’re inside Rosie’s bland blue head.
The building looks like an old factory, with soot-stained bricks, dark metal grates for the floors, and dirty windows.
Ramps and pipes and machinery are everywhere.
The sanitorium is chock full of robot history, trivia and stressed out mechanical celebrities who needed time out in rehab.
There are PA announcements & warnings not to feed the robots, and to watch out for their cunning behavior.
Rebellion is noticed as we see defaced Laws of Robotics posters marked by an anarchy symbol.
Be sure to check out the wall of historic escapes they are hilarious!
They have everything a clinic would have. Rosie the nurse passes out meds, try one and see the effects, its a hoot!
Stressed Mechanoids sometimes have the need to be evaluated, & air their concerns with someone who will understand.
No appt needed to see the shrink, walk in and lie on a couch, a robot psychiatrist asks if you are having problems with your motherboard.
“Shrinkbot whispers: Have any problems? Let me help you.”
There places of leisure for Bots who are making progress in their counseling and rehab. Passes are merited,Only for those on good behavior. They get passes to visit the Beach on the ground level. Use the TP point at the entrance of the building to hang out down there.,
OR…fancy a nice Hot Oil bath? Oh Look, Bender the Celebrity! Shhh, He doesn’t like to be noticed… look away…look away
Stable Bots also get clearance to spend time in the Robot Sanitorium Cinema.
“Ticket Giver: Please touch the ticket for entry to the robot theater.”
They get to watch TreetTV and classic robot themed movies.
If you think You’d like to experience all this activity firsthand as a Bot?
This infirmary offers the ability to convert your fleshy bioform into a Droid.

We hope you have a BLAST like we did, Hubby and I spent a hours in this place.
So much to marvel at, the creators have definitely outdid themselves.
It’s a great place to visit in a group, and I recommend spreading the word.
